Study abroad can be a very wonderful experience or a sequence of not so good experiences depending on how well you plan. I have compiled a list of questions to ask before you go abroad to avoid any mishaps.

1.How will my grades transfer?

2.Is there Airport pick up available for my destination university?

3.How many classes am I required to take?

4.Do I have the option of changing my classes?

5.Are there planned trips or excursions from the school?

6.How does financial aid work while abroad?

7.Can I work abroad?

8.Am I required to get a certain score to pass?

9.What are the visa requirements and how soon can I apply?

10.Is there a buddy program available?

(A buddy program, allows a local student to show you round the school and also help address your concerns)
